The State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) Plan Design Committee meeting held its monthly meeting on April 30.
The Committee heard a presentation from Optimum Rx concerning prescription costs; however, the presentation is not publicly available at this time. The Committee continued to discuss a resolution in support of fertility treatments for members, however, the matter did not progress.
There was no update provided on the amount loaned by the State Government Plan SHBP to the Local Government Plan SHBP, what has been paid back by the Local Government Plan to the State Government Plan, and the remaining outstanding balance.
The League will continue to keep membership updated as meetings continue.
