Last week, Congress passed, and President Trump signed a full year continuing resolution to fund the budget through September 30, 2025.
The House passed the budget on Tuesday, March 11 and sent it to the Senate, which voted to stop debate, by a vote of 62-38 on Friday, March 14 and passed the measure by a vote of 54-46. President Trump signed the measure on Saturday, March 16.
The budget is largely a continuation of last year’s spending but includes supplemental funding of $29 billion for federal disaster programs and a year long extension of the farm bill.
