The State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) Plan Design Committee meeting held its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on February 26.
The Committee discussed the delays in releasing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Actuary. Additionally, they discussed resolutions that have been on hold from prior meetings, including the resolution in support of fertility treatments for members.
There was not an update provided on the amount loaned by the State Government Plan to the Local Government Plan, what has been paid back by the Local Government Plan, and what the remaining total amount is to be paid back.
The League will continue to keep membership updated as meetings continue.
