On Thursday, a day before some federal government departments funding expired, the Senate and the House passed another Continuing Resolution, to fund the government in another two-step process, through March 1 for some departments and March 8 for the remaining. President Biden is expected to sign this legislation.
As we reported last week, funding to keep certain parts of the federal government operational expires on January 19, with the remaining departments funded through February 2.
