The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering grants to interested municipalities to apply for funding to address problems related to housing lead-based paint hazards. This grant is intended to enhance public health and improve housing conditions. With a total funding of $364.5 million, awards range from $1 million to $7 million. Eligible applicants include local governments, counties, states, and tribal governments.
