The Build America Bureau issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Rural and Tribal Assistance (RTA) Pilot Program, which would allow firms to assist with advanced transportation. The Program invites eligible communities to apply for up to $27 million in no-match grants for planning and design phase activities for developing transportation projects in the RTA communities. Funds may also be used for pre-development activities, including feasibility studies, project planning, environmental reviews, and financial analyses.
Your project is eligible if the project is not in a Census Bureau 2020 designated urban area or the project is in a Census Bureau 2020 designated urban area with a population of 150,000 or less.
