The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has partnered with The College of New Jersey and Sustainable Jersey in grants for tree plantings at New Jersey public school districts and universities for the Trees for Schools program. The program will provide competitive grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000 to support tree plantings. To apply review and submit applications by May 13 for tree planting in Spring 2026.
