T-Mobile Hometown Grants is a five-year initiative designed to assist municipalities, individuals, and organizations that contribute to communities’ growth and success. Each quarter, Hometown Grants are awarded to as many as 25 towns up to $50,000 for shovel-ready projects. Municipalities can apply for funding for projects that build, rebuild, or refresh community spaces that help foster location connections in your municipality. Examples of projects include but are not limited to, revitalizing or repurposing historic buildings, creating downtown assets or attractions, improvements to outdoor parks or trails, or technology projects for the public library. Funds cannot be used for engineering and architectural plans or fees, salaries, annual operating expenses, or reimbursement for completed projects.

Please note that the information required for application includes a project plan proposal with a detailed budget and timeline, up to five letters of support from community stakeholders, examples of in-kind donations or additional funding to cover the remainder of the project., and details on permits needed or obtained. Projects selected must be completed within the budget and within 12 months of receiving funding.
