Marie Kizer, Director, Finance and Administration, joined the League 27 years ago and manages the financial aspects of the League. She is the driving force behind the registration desk at the Conference each year. In addition to that sizeable effort, Kizer manages the accounting and reporting functions as well as the and benefits for the League staff. In 2018, Kizer was presented with the National League of Cities’ John G. Stutz award for those who have served a total of 25 years or more on the staff of a state municipal league.
