PERC Publishes Notices Adopting and Amending Rules

On October 20, the Public Employment Relations Commission published three notices in the New Jersey Register. These notices included the readoption and new amendments to N.J.A.C. 19:11-1.5, the readoption of N.J.A.C. 19:13, and the agency’s adoption of a proposed amendment at N.J.A.C. 19:14-2.1(a).

DEP Seeks Community Feedback on DocMiner Online Tool 

DEP invites the public and regulated community to provide feedback on its newly launched DocMiner online tool. The DocMiner tool will provide greater access to public records found through DEP’s existing DataMiner online database.

BPU Consolidates Programs, Creates Single Gateway for Builders

EDA Announces Film Industry Spending for 2024 Breaks Record 

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) announced $833 million in film industry spending in 2024, with more than 556 productions filmed in New Jersey.

NJ Municipalities Blog: Newark Awarded Film Industry Grant  

This week, the NJ Municipalities blog reports on a recent award for Newark’s Economic Development Corporation, Invest Newark. The $750,000 grant is from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) Board.

NJLMEF Kickoff Event Focuses on Security 

Start the Conference this year with the 3rd Annual League Foundation Kickoff Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. at the Atlantic City Convention Center. At 9:30 a.m., Lieutenant Colonel David Sierotowicz, Homeland Security Branch Command, NJ State Police, will speak on homeland security issues and human trafficking as we approach the Nation’s 250th Celebrations and hosting the 2026 World Cup. 

Breakfast is free, but registration is required in advance.
