In politics, it usually takes years to pull together that kind of enterprise, but Democrats might not have that kind of time. Despite his insistence that he will run for re-election in 2024, President Joe Biden is turning 80 this year, an age when health concerns can arise suddenly. Further, 56% of his fellow Democrats, according to the USA Today/Ipsos Poll, don’t want him to run.
