The deadline to submit a Local Efficiency Achievement Program (LEAP) grant application for FY2025 is May 30. It is recommended applications be submitted as soon as possible due to the LEAP program’s popularity and funding availability of the FY2025 LEAP appropriation.
LEAP facilitates exploring and establishing shared services by providing counties, municipalities, school districts, commissions, authorities, and fire districts assistance for the study or implementation of promising shared services projects undertaken pursuant to the Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation Act.
Grant applications are to be submitted through the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE) under grant IDs Local Efficiency Achievement Program (LEAP) 2025.
