This week Governor Murphy and Department of Health Commissioner Persichilli issued a statement regarding the recent rise of COVID numbers globally. In the statement, they noted that they do anticipate that New Jersey will see an increase in the number of cases but they are closely monitoring the activity and impact on New Jersey’s healthcare systems. At this time they do not anticipate reinstating universal statewide mandated protective measures.
