[ARCHIVED] COVID Vaccine Eligibility Expands

Today the Governor announced that effective tomorrow, Thursday, January 14, individuals older than 65 and individuals between the ages of 16 and 64 with medical conditions defined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  Individuals who are pregnant and those in an immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant are also eligible but should follow CDC guidance and first discuss vaccination with their medical provider before receiving the vaccine. Individuals can get vaccinated by registering for a vaccine on the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System, or by making an appointment at one of the designated sites.
