League staff reviewed potential legislation that may be considered before the new Legislature is constituted in January including changes to the State Health Benefits Program, changes to the Business Personal Property Tax. Energy Tax Receipts reform, and various land use pre-emption proposals, including S-4376 which enhances the ability of religious and nonprofit organizations to convert certain property to inclusionary developments with affordable. The League is opposed to this measure and is developing a sample resolution which will be available later this week.
