The Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2024 NJ State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) is now accepting applications. The deadline to submit the application is Friday, December 20, 2024, by 11:59 p.m. The grant program is available to all state and local government entities. Funding is available for the following projects: Cybersecurity Governance and Planning; Cybersecurity Risk Management; Enhance Cybersecurity Resilience; and Workforce Development.

For FFY24 SLCGP New Jersey will receive $5.18 million from the Federal government; and 80% of the grant funds must be allocated to reduce cybersecurity risks in local governments. In addition, 25% of the funds must be specifically allocated for cybersecurity risk reduction in rural jurisdictions (populations less than or equal to 50,000).
New Jersey local government entities that wish to participate in the SLCGP are required to complete and submit a Local Consent Agreement and the NJ SLCGP Resource Request Application.
