On Wednesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. the U.S. EPA is holding a briefing call for local officials in conjunction with the National League of Cities, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and the National Association of Counties on the recent PFAS rulemakings pertaining to the drinking water regulation and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) designation, also known as the Superfund designation.
EPA officials from various offices will give brief overviews of the two final rules, but the majority of the time will be dedicated to discussion and Q&A. The purpose of the call is for local leaders to be able to ask questions about implementation and compliance as it relates to the drinking water standard, as well as learn more about EPA's enforcement discretion policy as it relates to the CERCLA designation.
This webinar is free and no RSVP is needed. Please use the Zoom link.
