On Monday, June 10 at noon, the League will host a Lunch & Learn NFIP Floodplain Management with the DEP.
The League has partnered with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to provide a no-cost training opportunity focusing on New Jersey specifics in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and floodplain management for local community officials.
Floodplain management for municipalities is required by law, and every municipality is required to have a Local Floodplain Administrator (FPA) to participate in the FEMA NFIP program.
This Lunch & Learn is free with advanced registration. The link will be sent approximately one hour prior to the start of the Lunch & Learn.
