On July 4, 2026, United States of America will be celebrating its 250th anniversary. In preparation for the celebration RevolutionNJ is looking for potential hosts for temporary art installations. If you are a municipality, historic site, or organization interested in connecting communities to history through art please submit your interest to the Public Arts project.
As we approach the 250th anniversary, RevolutionNJ is developing programs and initiatives to bring New Jerseyans into the commemoration. Working closely with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and Monument Lab, RevolutionNJ plans to install temporary public art pieces by New Jersey-based artists that demonstrate the complexity of history throughout the state.
Please note that your submission is not an official application to RevolutionNJ Public Arts program but a declaration of interest to assist RevolutionNJ better develop a project proposal.
