On Thursday, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) hosted an “Ask the Administrator Q&A Session” to answer questions from the public regarding the Inland Flood Protection rule and implementation.
On hand to answer questions were State Floodplain Administrator Vincent Mazzei Jr, Stormwater Management Program Manager Gabriel Mahon, and State National Flood Insurance Program Administrator Kunal Patel.
Thursday’s meeting was the latest in a string of sessions hosted by the NJDEP to answer questions about the new Inland Flood Protection Rule that became effect July 17, 2023. A recording of this session will be uploaded the NJDEP website soon.
