From the Workplace Democracy Act, Earned Sick Leave, and Equal Pay Law, the last year has brought a number of considerable changes to existing employer obligations and employee rights. This program will provide an overview of the newly enacted laws, executive orders, and Attorney General Guidelines relating to topics including, but not limited to, police drug testing, early warnings for discipline, equal pay, workplace democracy,the expanded paid leave law, the New Jersey Minimum Wage increase, and agency fees. The program will also include a quick review of updates to the collective bargaining process since the expiration of the 2% Interest Arbitration Cap.
