Shared Services Board

The Borough of Englewood Cliffs is interested in sharing the services of a Construction Code Official with surrounding municipalities. Any municipality who believes there may be an opportunity to share these services with Englewood Cliffs, please contact Susan Spohn, Borough Administrator/Municipal Clerk at SSpohn@englewoodcliffsnj.org or by calling (201) 569-5252.

The Township of Washington in Morris County is looking to share services performed by its Information Technology staff. The Township currently provides website design/maintenance and email services through shared service agreements, and is prepared to offer these services to additional municipalities. If your municipality needs a GRC and DARM compliant archived email system to make fulfilling your OPRA requests a snap, a website designed or your hosting costs reduced, please contact Bob Kelly at 908-876-3232 ext. 328 or rkelly@wtmorris.net.

The City of South Amboy is interested in sharing services with surrounding municipalities. Areas of shared service agreements include but are not limited to Municipal Court, Building Department, Tax Assessor, Utility Collection, Senior Transportation. Any municipality who believes there may be an opportunity to share services with South Amboy City, please contact Camille Tooker, City Business Administrator by emailing to TookerC@southamboynj.gov, or by calling 732.525.5932.

The City of Hackensack is interested in sharing services with surrounding municipalities. Any municipality who believes there may be an opportunity to share services with Hackensack, please contact Steve Lo Iacono, City Manager at citymanager@hackensack.org. Thank you.

Please advise if any municipality set up an interlocal agreement to share building inspectors, code officals, etc.

The Borough of Sample is looking to share the costs of leasing a new street sweeper for its Public Works department. Please contact the Borough Manager at manager@sample.org to discuss.
